We are about to witness a review of a real-life commercial mediation. The case involved international parties from various European countries, and a large claim, with numerous legal and practical issues. The mediation took place in London in January this year.Mediator: Bill Marsh, London UKBill is a leading international commercial and investor-state mediator. Formerly a corporate lawyer, he has mediated full-time since 1991 in a huge range of commercial and other disputes involving governments, national and international businesses and individuals from over 50 countries, covering virtually every area of law and business. In addition to his commercial mediation practice, Bill also mediates highly complex conflicts involving environmental, religious, ethnic, and human rights issues. He is a member of numerous mediation panels worldwide and served as adviser on mediation/conflict resolution to many governments.Head of Litigation of EFG Bank AG: Jason Otto, Zurich CHJason is responsible for managing the global litigation and investigations unit which supervises cross-border banking litigation and governmental / regulatory investigations.
