Digital Career Insights
Where digital ambition meets human connection—authentic stories and insights from professionals shaping our connected future.
Digital Career Insights
The Digital Career Insights Series is designed to inspire and guide students as they explore career paths in the digital and connectivity space. Organized by the Geneva Research Lab for Digital Impact (GRL) and hosted by Giga (the UNICEF-ITU partnerships), the series brings together students from leading Geneva universities and schools to hear from guest speakers who share authentic insights about their professional journeys and the importance of connecting people in today’s world.
Talks will revolve around career paths, innovation, and fulfillment in connectivity-driven and digital impact fields. Possible themes include:
- Building meaningful careers in digital transformation and connectivity.
- Lessons from entrepreneurial and corporate pathways.
- Career fulfillment: aligning personal values with professional choices.
- The role of connectivity in driving social and economic change.
The objective of the event series is to expose final-year Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD students and recent graduates to diverse and inspiring career journeys in the world of connectivity and provide visibility on opportunities in the digital and connectivity sectors, while encouraging cross-campus networking and peer-to-peer learning and supporting students in navigating career choices with purpose and fulfillment.
Agenda
After a warm welcome and introductions of your hosts GRL and Giga, our guest speaker will share their career journey, highlighting opportunities and challenges in the digital impact/connectivity sectors. There will be ample time for an interactive Q&A session where students engage directly with the speaker, after which the conversation will continue informally over drinks and snacks, encouraging cross-university connections.
