Advancing Credible Nature-based Solutions

This session addresses how Nature-based Solutions (NbS) can respond to converging global crises by offering credible and scalable pathways for climate resilience, biodiversity protection, and sustainable development. It presents the IUCN Global Standard for NbS™ as a benchmark to ensure that investments in NbS deliver measurable benefits for people, nature and climate. Participants will gain insights into innovative financing models, practical tools for high integrity project design, and collaboration opportunities across finance, policy, technology, and conservation. The session offers valuable guidance for organisations seeking to reduce risk, unlock capital, and accelerate reliable NbS across regions.

This session is hosted by The International Union for Conservation of Nature, IUCN at the Climate Hub Davos.
