[[hybrid VR/installation experience]]
ft. improvisation machine (AIYA) | sensor-augmented flute | humans

Zurich University of the Arts

black box fading is an immersive experience that explores the interactions between human, sensor-augmented flute (chaosflöte), and improvisation machine (AIYA). Set in a neosurrealist environment, black box fading crafts a narrative that plays with the perceptions of human-machine agency and human-machine interactions. The work is a hybrid setting that encompasses both virtual reality and interactive installation, where live reactive sounds and visual projections, shifting perceptions of space and scale, and unconventional 360° editing techniques contribute to the fluctuating dynamics between human and machine.
Additional Information:

Registration is required.
