About this event
Lightning Talk
Who? Aga Sieradzka, founder of Belonging@Work.
What? Belonging —personally, socially, and professionally— in today’s fast-changing, tech-driven world.
Join us this September for a thought-provoking lightning talk and interactive discussion with Aga Sieradzka, founder of Belonging@Work and author of “The Alphabet of Belonging” (©2023).
Together, we’ll dive into one of the most essential—and often overlooked—human needs: belonging. Why does it matter so much to our mental, emotional, and physical well-being? What does it look like across cultures, life stages, and workplaces—especially in today’s fast-evolving, tech-driven world?
We’ll explore questions like:
- What does belonging really mean to you?
- Have you ever felt like an outsider?
- Is there still space for belonging in today’s AI-driven workplaces?
- Can gender diversity and belonging reinforce each other?
Audience:
- People who’ve felt like they didn’t quite fit in
- People who care about creating inclusive spaces
- People curious about the intersection of belonging, identity, and technology
To spark richer discussion, we ask each participant to bring someone with a different perspective—a friend, colleague, or partner with a different background, gender, or nationality. Let’s make this conversation as diverse and dynamic as the world we live in.

Hello 50:50 World
Can we really achieve gender equity and diversity in tech if we stay in our feminist bubbles? Do you believe that we can only achieve more equality when everybody is on board? Then join the conversation on diversity in tech at our Hello 50:50 world meetups.
To participate, you’ll need to bring someone with a different perspective (e.g., gender, nationality, etc.) to ensure balanced participation. Both you and your +1 need to get a ticket so we can better manage attendance.
