Cultureholic - Art, Shopping and Entertainment in the Digital Age -,

an Art & Architecture Talk during Zurich Art Weekend.

The intertwining of art, shopping and entertainment is reshaping culture and public space in the 21st century. Indeed, the ongoing popularization of museums and the positioning of art as spectacle and experience have conspired with market forces, e-commerce and social media to create new confluences - and even new definitions - for all three.

Join us for a compelling exchange on this urgent theme!

With the participation of:

Chris Dercon, President, Réunion des Musées Nationaux-Grand Palais, Paris

Hans Ulrich Obrist, Artistic Director, Serpentine Galleries, London

The complete lineup will follow shortly.

This new edition of the E.A.T. x Zürich series will be moderated by Aric Chen, Independent Curator and Director of the D&I Lab, Tongji University, Shanghai.

Presentations will be held in English.

E.A.T./ Engadin Art Talks - is an international platform for an ongoing discourse about art, architecture, design, science, literature and innovation.

It takes place every January in the beautiful Alpine landscape of the Engadin valley in Switzerland, and brings together disruptive minds and thought leaders from different creative disciplines, enabling the interaction and concentrated exchange of ideas and thoughts around topics of social relevance. So far, around 150 distinguished speakers have contributed to the conversation.

The E.A.T. are the highlight of the Swiss cultural winter agenda. The programme is defined by the curators Hans Ulrich Obrist, artistic director, Serpentine Galleries, London, Daniel Baumann, director, Kunsthalle Zurich, Bice Curiger, director Fondation Vincent Van Gogh and Philip Ursprung, Dean of Architecture, ETH Zurich.

After 10 years, building on its legacy and success, E.A.T. is evolving into a traveling platform to pursue its mission also abroad.
