About this event

ETH Week is a key project of the Critical Thinking Initiative with the goal to foster independent thinking and responsible acting. It promotes interdisciplinary collaboration by building on various expertise and gives students the opportunity to analyse and reflect on important societal problems.

We – the ETH Collaborative Learning Platform – invite the entire ETH Community (students and employees of ETH Zurich) to visit us at ETH Week and join one or more of our public events:

  • Sunday, 11 September 2022, at 19.45, Inspirational Night with Gerd Leonhard talking about how to shape a Good Future
  • Monday, 12 September 2022, at 19.45, Critical Thinking Night with Thomas Haemmerli speaking up for an open-minded, cosmopolitan and modern Switzerland
  • Tuesday, 13 September 2022, at 19.45, Movie Night. Surprise Movie. Fun guaranteed!
  • Friday, 16 September 2022, at 14.30, Final Presentation. Come and see how the students envision our Urban Futures.

If you are generally interested in ETH Week come and meet us from Sunday 11 September until Friday 16 September at the HPH Foyer at Hönggerberg.

ETH Week is organized by the newly established ETH Collaborative Learning Platform (CLP). The CLP offers curricular and extracurricular programmes, trainings, and social events – all aimed at advancing method-specific, social, and personal competencies within our student body. More information about the CLP will be available soon - stay tuned.
