About the Speakers

Yulia Sandamirskaya, Professor, Cognitive Technology, ZHAW

​Prof. Dr. Yulia Sandamirskaya heads the Research Center “Cognitive Computing” at the Institute of Computational Life Sciences, Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). Her research focuses on cognitive and neuromorphic technologies for assistive robots in elderly and healthcare settings — including sensors, brain-inspired algorithms, and controllers. Her mission is to translate assistive robotics from lab prototypes to market-ready solutions that enhance autonomy and quality of life for those needing physical assistance.

Nicolas Berg, General Partner, Mission Possible VC and Startup Coach

​Nicolas is a seasoned venture capitalist, startup coach, and serial entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience. He has co-founded 16 startups and two venture capital funds — Redalpine and Mission Possible VC — and invested in more than 50 tech companies. As a jury member, coach, and lecturer, Nicolas has supported over 10,000 founders. A former finance and tech journalist, he brings deep insight and passion to the startup ecosystem — along with an artistic flair and love for ski jumping.

Georges Khneysser, General Partner, QBIT Capital

​Georges is the founder and Chief Vision Officer of QBIT Capital, based in Zurich, Switzerland. He has 35 years of experience in the Capital Markets: Debt and Currency trading, Private Equity, Private Market and Venture Capital investing. Georges brings an extensive global network, having lived and worked in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and California. Georges is passionate about quantum mechanics, chess, contemporary art, and watchmaking.

Pascal Stämpfli, Co-Managing Director, COREangels Big Data & AI

​Pascal is a seasoned venture capital and finance expert, CFA charterholder, and HSG graduate. He is the founder of Scalemetrics, co-founder of Kubera Equity, and Managing Partner at COREangels Big Data & AI Europe. With a daily focus on financing, due diligence, and strategic guidance, he supports growth-stage startups and investors alike. Pascal bridges the gap between financial structuring and entrepreneurial ambition — helping tech companies scale responsibly and sustainably.

Alex Bardin, Founder, Vectra Advisors
