Mobility makes up almost 40% of our Carbon Footprint. Since over 2 years we at 42hacks work towards shifting Modal Split and increasing the usage of public transport, bycicles, and alternative mobility options as opposed to cars in order to significantly reduce Co2 emissions. For that we collaborate with municipalities, city representatives, large employers, and -last but not least- individual citizens. We have built our own Artificial Intelligence that not only analyses relevant mobility data but also detects and calculates impactful measures. None of this would have been possible without the power of collective creativitity and our Friday Hacks Series. We therefore invite you to join our mission and get involved in our regular Friday Hacks.A Friday Climate Hack series by 42hacks: Fun people, serious impact. No preparation, no homework.Just join every Friday from 3pm - 5pm (CET): 42hacks.com/live* **Who is 42hacks?42hacks is an internationally growing climate hacking community with the goal of closing the gap between climate pledges and action. We believe in the power of collective creativity and open innovation, delivered through fun and engaging hackathon formats. We work for people and the planet, not for profit. Our cooperative is registered in Switzerland, but the members of our community range from Finland to the USA.Together with entrepreneurs, start-ups, scientists, artists, climate justice experts and citizens, we want to make a positive impact on the planet and help reduce CO2 emissions. Are you curious and interested in the climate and its impact on our planet and people? An experienced team of moderators will guide you through the session together with other participants. We leave time for discussion, feedback and presentations at the end.The session lasts 2 hours, with an additional 'lounge' at the end to catch up with others in a relaxed and informal environment.A wonderful way to end the week, start the weekend and meet new people. Please note:This hack will be held in English and/or German, depending on the participants. Some technical tips:If you are registering for our event, we recommend that you use Google Chrome as your default browser, have a good internet connection and use a laptop. If you participate with your smartphone, you will not be able to fully immerse yourself and participate. Why a hackathon?Disruptive + fast + fun = stunning results with a big impactA hackathon (short: "hack") is a word derived from "hacking" (= disruptive) and "marathon" (= fast and continuous). In our core team of entrepreneurs as well as design thinking and innovation experts, we have tested various formats and it has become clear that THIS works best:

Enabling open and creative collaboration

Harnessing collective intelligence

Being highly inclusive and involving both experts and people like your grandmother

Deliver innovative results at a speed and quality that few other approaches can match

"Do I need to prepare anything?"No homework is required. Come with a smile and a desire to make a positive contribution to the climate crisis.
