Human Symphony – Voices For Refugees
Stories have the power to move our hearts and provide us with the opportunity to see the world through a different lens. Together we can learn, grow and change.
HUMAN SYMPHONY is a story-telling project by IPYG Switzerland which provides a platform to share stories and messages of those who are earnestly seeking peace.
We as IPYG (International Peace Youth Group) want to mobilise youth around the world to fight for peace and human rights. When the 1.2 billion young people around the globe stand up for a future of peace, change will be possible!

100 million stories that need to be heard
As we marked this unprecedented milestone, the voices of refugees need to be amplified.
One of the largest refugee populations worldwide are the people of Afghanistan. According to UNHCR there are 2.6 million registered Afghan refugees in the world, another 3.5 million people are internally displaced, having fled their homes searching for refuge within the country.
Our speaker from Afghanistan built her career in social development and primarily focusses on initiatives addressing community development, health, education and the empowerment of women. She will share her journey and authentic stories of the Afghan people.
PEACE PANEL
As IPYG we hope to unite people from all backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, sectors for the purpose of peace.
This is why we are starting a peace panel as a new addition to our Human Symphony events. You will have the chance to listen to representatives from all walks of life sharing their view and vision for a culture of unity and the values of peace.
At this event, religious leaders, refugees, experts and youth representatives will come together to speak about the importance of equality.
