On April 29, you’re invited to the global Inner Development Goals Summit to learn how we can release the brakes on human progress, both individually and collectively. This is the journey. Now is the time.Impact Hub Basel is happy to be the local hub in the Basel area for the first-ever Inner Development Goals (IDGs) global summit happening simultaneously in Stockholm (centre of the event) and so many local hubs worldwide! Our event includes the broadcasting of the core parts of the Stockholm central event with a bunch of world-famous speakers while offering a lot more: You can look forward to experiential workshops, reflective spaces and parallel sessions in addition, plus networking opportunities including an extended apéro time at the end!We want to make the event as accessible as possible, hence we offer a relatively low ticket price and combine it with the option for participants to add a donation. Your donations help us to create and host follow-up offerings for an IDGs community in the area (e.g. roundtables).About the IDGsIn 2015, the United Nations launched the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of the 2030 sustainability agenda. The goals recognise that ending poverty and other deprivations must go together with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests. But despite our good intentions, we can’t seem to tackle our biggest problems. Why? Because we’re stuck in the old thinking that created them. We can do so much better than this, but we need new tools, and we need to start with ourselves. The Inner Development Goals are the tools we need to reach the UN’s SDGs, and secure a just, prosperous and sustainable future for humanity.Do you want to know more? https://www.innerdevelopmentgoals.org/Basel Hub Agenda08:30 Intro / Tuning in09:00 IDG Global broadcasting kick-off sequence09:30 Break / Reflection space09:50 Experiential session on Being & Thinking (IDG 1 & 2)11:10 Break11:20 Systemic sense-making workshop12:00 Lunch / Networking13:15 - 17:00 IDG global broadcasting core sequence, accompanied by parallel sessions around IDG / UN SG topics in sub spaces (from 14:30 until 16:30)17:00 Break17:15 Synthesis / Emergence space18:00 Apéro / Networking19:30 End
