Two years ago, Spirit Music Society and Schachklub Kreis 4 brought chess into the middle of the art festival Grande Fiasco at dacodac during Zurich Art Weekend. It was a natural fusion: Chess brings focus and strategy. Music brings emotion and flow. Together, they create a balance: thinking and feeling, move and groove. Now we’re bringing that same spirit back with Chess n’ Jazz, a monthly evening for anyone who enjoys a good game, good music, and an afterwork drink.

Schachklub Kreis 4 started in 2017 at Bar3000 and has since grown into one of Switzerland’s most vibrant chess communities. Every week, players of all levels gather for our legendary meet-ups, a mix of great atmosphere, music, drinks, and, of course, plenty of chess.
