LAB 3 | Education |Sustainable Finance in Investing
Overview
Join the FE+MALE Think Tank for the final action-oriented Online Lab, part of the Beat Funding Bias Initiative (BFBI) satellite program. This lab explores how education and training can be systematically used to raise awareness and reduce the economic costs of unconscious gender bias.
The Focus: Integrating Bias-Awareness into Training
This one-hour session will examine best practices for embedding bias-reduction into training for investors, corporate decision-makers, and founders. It is vital to both equip founders with the skills to navigate bias and empower investors to recognize and correct it. The format consists of an expert talk followed by a working group session.
Who Should Attend?
University Professors, Corporate Learning & Development (L&D) Specialists, Executive Coaches, Entrepreneurship Educators, and other stakeholders focused on training and competency development.
Lab Structure (1 Hour):
Expert Talk (30 min): A presentation on proven methods and best practices for creating and deploying effective bias-aware tools and training materials.
Johanna has been CEO of Young Enterprise Switzerland (YES) since 2023. Her journey with YES began as a student in the Company Programme, later leading communications while completing her Master’s in Marketing Management at the University of St. Gallen. Today, she heads a team of 40+, driving programmes that empower young people to understand economics, take responsibility, and unlock their potential.
Working Group Session (30 min): Collaborative breakout to discuss educational solutions and share innovative training models.
