Writing as a 'practice' helps us comprehend the value of our lives. Learn the basics in this 3 part workshop.

About this event

Writing helps us in our journey towards self-discovery. 'Writing practice' is the process.

Like most things profound, the idea is quite simple. We meet in community, sit still for a few minutes to settle our minds. And then we do timed writing based on topics offered by the facilitator. The intention is to write first thoughts and go for the jugular, no editing.

Time up, we read what we wrote to others. And here's the best part.

No discussion, No appreciation, No critique from those who listen.

We say thank you and the next person reads.

Writing in community is magical.

Little did I think that this simple practice will become a source of resilience through a bumpy 2021. Not only have I experienced a real sense of community, but I have also been able to make some critical decisions that my cognitive mind alone would have never allowed me to make.

I am keen to bring this amazing practice to as many of you as I can. My hope is to inspire you in the new year to experience the transformational power of writing.

Please bring a notebook and a fast writing pen. And block the time free of any distractions.

This is a 3-workshop series. Once you sign up for the June 16th , you will receive a calendar invite with the zoom link for all 3 workshops. Ideally attend all 3 if you can.
