Workshop in English - Responding to and managing uncomfortable remarks with practical strategies and role-playing.

We've all been speechless when faced with an uncomfortable remark. And then thought about all the scathing retorts we could have made. This collaborative and interactive workshop, with role-playing in small groups, will provide you with eight effective strategies for responding to embarrassing remarks. It will also suggest ways of reacting if you witness an embarrassing remark or if you yourself are the source of a comment that embarrasses others. This workshop has been created by Siara Isaac, lecturer and scientist at the EPFL Center for Learning Sciences (LEARN).A workshop animated by Maria Cortes Astudillo María Cortés Astudillo is an industrial engineer specialized in agile working methodologies. She supports teams on their agile journey within companies and runs collective and emotional intelligence workshops to raise awareness on climate change and inequalities.
