During the workshop you will first design your jewelry box in Fusion 360 on your own laptop and then cut and engrave it on the lasercutters in the Makerspace.
Registration
This is an event for ETH students. Our workshops have a limited number of places to give you personalized support. Please register only if you are sure you can come on the day and time indicated. If something happens and you cannot come, cancel your registration at least 2 working days in advance.
Requirement: General introduction
Make sure that you have attended the General introduction of the Makerspace. General Introductions take place every Makerspace Open Hour at 16:30-17:00 and 18:30-19:00 (12:30 and 14:30 on Saturday), no prior sign-up is required. Preparation
Bring your own laptop with Fusion 360 already installed. The software can be downloaded free if your register with your ETH email from: https://www.autodesk.com/education/edu-software/overview?sorting=featured&filters=individual. Additionally bring a mouse and your laptop charger to the workshop.
If you want to engrave your own image on the box, bring an image file on a usb stick.
