Cultivating beginner's mind.

Dates & Attendance Fees

Every first Thursday of a month, 19.30-21.30 (exception: 30.3. instead of 6.4.2023). First cycle from Sep 2022 till June 2023 (10 sessions), next dates 30.3. / 4.5. / 1.6. Next cycle from Sep till Jun 2024 (10 sessions).

Mindful Leadership

Mindful leadership can have astonishing effects, for the leader as well as for the team: Openness and fresh perspectives; clarity and ease; focus and concentration; listening and understanding; creativity and growth; respect and trust; satisfaction and performance.

Mindful leadership requires mindful self-leadership: When you understand yourself better, you will understand your people better; when you develop a good way of being with your emotions, you will deal with your people more skillfully; when you take good care of yourself you will be able to take better care of your people.

What you can expect

Mindful Leaders Basel is a safe and professional space where you - in a group of like-minded people (8 p. max):

> get inspiration around changing topics of mindful self-leadership and leadership;

> cultivate basic and advanced mindfulness, mindset and mindful communication practices for yourself and your leadership work;

> reflect and develop your leadership behaviour in mindful exchange;

> get advice for your mindfulness and leadership practice;

> get to know yourself better and cultivate self-leadership;

> develop a positive leadership perspective which addresses your own and your people's strengths;

> improve the relationship with yourself - with positive impact for your (leadership) relationships;

> experience a nourishing, insightful and strengthening time.

Coaching option

If you wish to deepen your mindful leadership practice, individual coaching between the monthly group sessions are possible (one or several sessions).

Requirements

Previous experience with mindfulness practice and mindful leadership is an advantage but not a requirement.

Host / facilitator

Lutz Hempel is co-founder of The Flourishing Circle and founder of Groovin’ Organization, consultant, facilitator, trainer, certified MBSP teacher (Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice) and Zen practitioner with specialization in inner growth, flourishing, mindful business and "groove". He is a team member of Center for Mindfulness Basel (Zentrum für Achtsamkeit Basel) and leads the Basel regional group within the Network for Mindful Business(Netzwerk Achtsame Wirtschaft; NPO)
