Super-resolution microscopy breaks the ‘diffraction barrier’, allowing molecular level resolution and new discoveries.
In the morning lecture, this course teaches the theory and principles of sub-diffraction imaging and will give insights into new technologies like expansion microscopy.
The afternoon session then offers hands on training in localization (STORM) and structured illumination (SIM) methods.
The course day starts with a lecture at 9:15h which has unlimited (approx.50) seating. The number of participants in the hands-on session in the afternoon (starting at 13:00h) is however limited as we cannot acommodate more than 12 participants at the various microscopes. Thus, if you register for the course day we are looking forward to welcome you in the morning and in the afternoon.
