On October 4th & 5th, 2025, the NASA Space Apps Challenge Lucerne will gather coders, designers, engineers, scientists, artists, storytellers, and space enthusiasts to solve some of the world’s most critical challenges — both on Earth and in space.

Held at Technopark Luzern, this two-day hackathon is part of NASA’s global initiative taking place in over 300 cities worldwide. Teams will respond to official NASA challenges using open data from NASA and its space agency partners (ESA, JAXA, CSA, CNES, and others).
