What? Parenting in Tech: Protecting children from online harm
Join us in May for a lightning talk and interactive discussion to learn about 3 online elements (Digital Diet, Online Trust and Connection Literacy) that will help parents simplify the challenge of keeping their kids safe and healthy while online.
We will discuss questions such as:
- How can we, as parents and as members of society, effectively protect children today from online harms?
- How can parents realistically keep up with rapid technological changes and emerging online harms?
- How effective are tech-facilitated parenting controls?
To participate, you’ll need to bring someone with a different perspective (e.g., gender, nationality, etc.) to ensure balanced representation.
