A public event at the United Nations sponsored by the U.S. Mission with Ambassador Eileen Chamberlain Donahoe, U.S. Representative to the Human Rights Council, Alec Ross, Senior Advisor for Innovation in the Office of the U.S. Secretary of State; Kathleen Reen, Vice President, global internet initiatives, and human rights activists participating in the Internet Freedom Fellows program.

About 2013 Internet Freedom Fellows Program

The Internet Freedom Fellows program brings human rights activists from across the globe to Geneva, Washington, DC, and Silicon Valley to meet with fellow activists, U.S. and international government leaders, and members of civil society and the private sector engaged in technology and human rights.

This year’s Internet Freedom Fellows are human rights activists and active practitioners of digital media from China, Russia, Ghana, Nigeria and Sudan.

NOTE: Registration is only required for those attendees who do not hold a United Nations badge.

Organized by the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in Geneva in collaboration with GMedia Center and digital media expert John Horniblow.
