About this event
The COVID-19 Pandemic is a global crisis that has impacted our lives, our societies and our future. It has resulted in a number of ethical considerations around our work habits, our human relationships, our trust in governments and health expertise, resource distribution, the prosperity and leadership of businesses and the prospective traumas of our children.
It has also raised a number of questions on the legal and ethical responses of future global crises. As we increasingly encounter resource limitations in all its forms, natural and manufactured, we will be forced as individuals and as communities to navigate short-term and long-term demands, complex decision-making, and to find innovative solutions.
This workshop aims at looking into how the IDGs enable individuals to respond to the major sustainability questions in a post-COVID-19 world. The IDGs can help individuals exercise personal and corporate responsibility by addressing the difficulties, providing oversight, offering direction, pursuing honest governance, and seeking fair and equitable solutions.
The event will be hybrid (in person or online participation possible).
We invite all participants to make a financial contribution (donation) to help us cover basic costs. For those who have already participated in Swiss IDG Hub events, we suggest CHF 15 and for new participants to the group, we suggest CHF 30. These are guide prices only and are not a prerequisite for participation.
