The CryptoPunks have a special celebration this June!

Some five years have passed since the project's launch in 2017 and what a five years they've been. Punks have inspired and influenced so much of what we see today in NFTs and digital art. Their owners comprise a who's who of web3. They are creators, builders, artists, early adopters, visionaries.

The CryptoPunks, much like their owners, are icons of our community.

Come and celebrate the anniversary with the Punks community and our special friends in Austin during Consensus.

Punks holders enter free of charge and we'll have a limited number of tickets available for event speakers and special guests. We'll also have general admission tickets available for purchase. The venue can comfortably hold 200 guests.

The event will have an open bar, canapés and live music. Don your finest country/cowboy-wear. After all, we'll be inside a country Saloon in the great state of Texas.

Attendees MUST RSVP. Register for the event with Eventbrite and provide your email address so we can put together a list and, if required, verify Punk ownership.

We're super excited to have Mark Graeffe attending with several of his life-sized Punks and we're developing a number of Punks banners and a wallpaper to feature inside. The venue has many screens across the two floors so it will be fantastic to display some animated Punks designs here. Thanks to Glyph Punks & Dan Polko, we've got some great options to choose from so far.

Punks community members will be covering the costs for the event which we hope to alleviate through general ticket sales and donations. We as a community must invest our time and resources into efforts like this. If you're able, please make donations here:

We're holding this event in the hope of encouraging greater connections, engagement and actions from the community. Let's get aligned on a vision for CryptoPunks and create an action group to start delivering. For too long we've been looking to others to do things for us, without realising that we, the CryptoPunks community, are rockstars of web3 and can do things ourselves.

Let's work together to build out a future for CryptoPunks and to shape our own destiny. Let's communicate the importance, influence and cultural relevance of CryptoPunks to those within the web3 community and to tens of millions more.

We look forward to celebrating with you in Austin on the 10th, to celebrate our first birthday, and we also look forward to another celebration for NYC to celebrate our second birthday on the 23rd. If you can help us to put that event on, please make yourself known.
