🌑 Why We Gather: A Birthday of the Soul

On 10 December, Zela Feraco celebrates a very different kind of birthday.
She turns 6 years old, which means 6 years clean and sober.

This date marks the moment her life began again, the moment she reclaimed her power, and the moment the goddesses guided her back into herself.

To honour this rebirth, Zela is inviting you into a sacred Gratitude Circle where resilience, community, and the magic of choosing life are celebrated.

This year, she is giving her birthday away.
Every donation from this event will go directly to TEARS Foundation, a women-led South African organisation that supports survivors of sexual assault, domestic abuse, and gender-based violence.

For every woman who did not have a safe place to land.
For every woman who is still fighting for her freedom.
For every woman who deserves protection, dignity, and healing.

This circle transforms a milestone of survival into a force of support for women in crisis.

🔮 What to Expect

A warm, heartfelt, and powerfully connective gathering of 60 to 75 minutes.

A grounding, mindful moment to enter the space.

✨ Her Story

Zela will share a personal and honest reflection on her journey with addiction, the turning point that saved her life, and how tarot, witchcraft, goddess-consciousness, and gratitude became the pillars of her recovery.

✨ Mini Teaching: The Magick of Gratitude

We will explore gratitude as a powerful spiritual practice that transforms energy and life.
This includes:
• gratitude as spellcraft
• gratitude as life force
• gratitude as a path back to self-trust and wellbeing
• gratitude as a frequency that anchors resilience

✨ Community Gratitude Circle

Each person is invited (but never required) to share:
• three things they are grateful for
• a win they want to celebrate, whether big or small

This is a safe, uplifting, and deeply connective space.

✨ Closing Blessing

The circle will close by sending collective energy, love, and gratitude to TEARS Foundation and the women they support.

This is a donation-based event and every contribution will be given to TEARS Foundation. TEARS is a South African non-profit organisation that provides free, 24-hour crisis intervention, trauma support, legal and medical referrals, counselling, and safety pathways for women and other survivors of sexual assault, domestic abuse, and gender-based violence.

To attend, you do not need to be sober or in recovery.
You do not need to be witches.
You simply need to show up as yourself.

• A willingness to share and receive, or simply listen

This circle is a celebration of life reclaimed.
It is a birthday of the spirit.
It is a moment where gratitude becomes sacred and useful.

Zela would be honoured to celebrate this milestone with them and to join together in support of women who need it most.

For Zela's friends in 12-step programs: Please note that this is an OPEN public event and a fundraiser for a good cause. NOT a recovery event. Please bear this in mind.

Class is at 7 pm CET. Please check your timezone for the start time.

Please arrive on time. Once the event begins, no one will be allowed into the Zoom meeting.

All classes are recorded and the replay will be available for 7 days. You will receive a private, non-shareable replay link.

Many courses are also available at the Nightshade Sanctum at various tiers for a discounted price.

You will receive an email 2 hours before the circle with the Zoom link. Please pre-register with Zoom.

Zoom registration approval may take 10 to 15 minutes.

Your camera must be on at the beginning of the ritual, class, workshop, or discussion.

Zoom bombing is prohibited and is a violation of the law. It is not permitted at any Nightshade Sanctum event.

Do not share Zoom links, audio, video, or handout links. Access is restricted to the email used for registration.

Tickets must be purchased at least 2 hours before the event.

One ticket per person. Every attendee must purchase their own ticket on Eventbrite.
