Overview

Weave destiny with Zela Feraco in this spellbinding workshop. Discover spider magick, knot spells, and the magical folklore of spinning.

Step into the enchanted art of creation in The Witch’s Weave: The Magick of Spiders and Spinning — a workshop that unravels the mystical threads connecting ancient folklore, goddess wisdom, and modern witchcraft.

For millennia, spinning and weaving have been regarded as sacred acts of magick and manifestation. Across cultures, the spindle, loom, and thread symbolized the weaving of destiny itself - the power to shape the unseen into the material world. In European folklore, spinning wheels and distaffs were tools of transformation, featured in tales such as Sleeping Beauty and Rumpelstiltskin, where thread and fate intertwine.

We’ll explore the Weaving Goddesses who hold this sacred power:

  • Frau Holle / Perchta / Berchta, guardians of hearth, winter, and domestic magick.
  • Neith of Egypt, the primordial weaver who wove the world into being.
  • Uttu of Mesopotamia, spinner of divine order and balance.
  • Arachne, the mortal spinner transformed by Athena — a symbol of artistry, defiance, and creation.
  • The Moirai of Greece and the Norns of Norse myth — the Fates who spin, measure, and cut the threads of life.
  • Frigg, Norse goddess of hearth and foresight, whose spindle wove protection and prophecy.

Through their stories, we uncover how spinning and weaving were seen as magical acts, each twist and turn of the thread a spell, each knot a charm, each tapestry a living talisman.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:
🕸 How to work with the Spider as a spiritual guide: the weaver of patterns and patience.
🕸 The magickal symbolism of webs and weaves in spellcraft and manifestation.
🕸 The art of crafting magical knots to anchor intentions and protection charms.
🕸 The practice of Shambles Divination, an old folk method for reading tangled threads to reveal messages from fate.

We’ll close with a guided ritual to weave your own spell-thread, a tangible connection between your intention and the vast cosmic web.🕸️
