This event is focused on women and gender-marginalized indie game developers meeting with publishers and investors. If we combine this with the limited space of our venue, we currently do not have an option for suppliers to partake in this event. We hope to be able to grow our event (location) in years to come, to be able to include suppliers.

”Spill the Tea” Panel [1.30pm-2.15pm]
The games industry is in the gutter—and it’s time to flip the script.
Starting a studio today? Good luck. No transparency, shady deals, and a system stacked against you.
So we’re done playing nice. This panel’s all about spilling the tea. No NDAs, no filters. Just raw, real talk—from platform pros and cons to the worst publishing deals we’ve seen (and how bad they messed things up). We'll be discussing industry deals and current trends related to publishing deals, royalties, recoup, deals structure, up ownership, and more.
- Panel start time: 1.30 PM-2.15 PM
- Panel lead: Sophie Atkin, founder at Secret Sauce
- Panel Guests:

🎤 Lína Ingvarsdóttir - Founding Partner at Behold Ventures

Sophie is one of the co-founders of SECRET SAUCE, a marketing and co-publishing agency founded in 2024. She has been in the games industry for five years, working across everything from events to marketing to business development and has worked on numerous games across AA and the indie space. When not working, she is probably being overly competitive in a video game, boogying to zumba or tearing out weeds in the garden.
Rebecca is Chief Business Officer at Landfall, an indie studio based in Stockholm, Sweden and the dev behind games such as Clustertruck, Stickfight, TABS, ROUNDS, Content Warning and most recently Haste. She is responsible for everything related to brand-building and business development. Landfall also functions as an investor for external indie games. Before joining Landfall she was heading an initiative funded by the European Union that focused on building a global network for the industry and nurturing business opportunities across borders.
Sigurlína Ingvarsdóttir is a founding partner at Behold Ventures, a venture capital fund investing in early-stage game industry companies across the Nordics and Europe. With over 15 years of experience in game development, she has played a pivotal role in shaping some of the industry’s most renowned projects.
Before co-founding Behold Ventures, Sigurlína worked as a producer at leading studios, including CCP in Iceland, Ubisoft Massive, and EA DICE in Sweden, where she led the Star Wars Battlefront franchise. At EA Sports in Vancouver, she guided strategy for the globally successful FIFA series, and from 2018 to 2020, she worked at Bonfire Studios in California, contributing to the very recently announced game Arkheron.
Sigurlína holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iceland and combines her technical expertise with a passion for fostering the next generation of game industry innovators.
