'Gallery Hopping along Rämistrasse', a two-hour tour to discover exhibitions in several art venues around Zurich.
Join us for a thematic two-hour tour to discover exhibitions across art venues participating in ZURICH ART WEEKEND 2021 with insights from students from the Master of Arts in Art Education Curatorial Studies of the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
The tour will have a limited capacity and will be held in English and/or German.
Prior registration is required. For organisational reasons, spontaneous sign ups will not be possible.
Meeting point: main entrance of Kunsthaus Zurich
Keep yourself and others safe: please wear a mask during the tour.
In close distance to the Kunsthaus Zürich, on the southeastern edge of the Old Town, a hotspot of Zurich galleries has developed along Rämistrasse. As an important area for the commercial art market in Zurich, Rämistrasse also offers the opportunity to see works by internationally renowned artists in impressive exhibition spaces. Duringher Art Walk, Emanuela Ring wants to address the accessibility and visibility of art in galleries, while lowering the inhibition threshold to enter galleries and talk about art. On her walk, five galleries with different orientations will be visited. Emanuela Ring would like to start a dialogue with the participants and gallery owners. (Emanuela Ring)
