Emma-Jane Barlow

Emma-Jane Barlow (EJ) is a bestselling poet, author, advocate and creative. She began her writing journey at seven, weaving tales from her life experiences and exploring themes like autism, love and loss. Her works include "Darkness & Light" (2020) and "Sins & Sunflowers: Second Edition" (2023). She was longlisted for the Heroica Poetry Prize in 2024 and runner-up in the Happiful Poetry Prize in 2025. She has featured work in The Raven Review, Ink Gladiator Press and The Anti-Misogyny Club Journal. She has performed alongside Mike Garry and has been showcased multiple times on BBC Radio Manchester. EJ is passionate about diverse storytelling and is working on her first novel and third poetry collection.
