Disc Golf Meetup and Practise

Disc golf is an exciting sport where players throw discs (frisbees) using rules adapted from golf. The aim is to land your disc in the target—an upstanding basket—with the least number of throws. Technique is important, as is learning the varied flight characteristics of each disc.

Nope! You're welcome to come empty handed and borrow some from the event organisers. Just let us know on arrival. If you prefer your own set (like in golf, discs generally come in three types: putters, midranges and drivers), you can find a selection at the local store: www.schiibelade.ch

There are generally plenty of available parking spaces (paid) directly beside the sports area or in front of the swimming pool.

The nearest train station to the event is Adliswil, reachable in 15-minutes from Zurich HB on the S4 line. The sports area (Adliswil Tal) is a 10-minute walk from Adliswil station, or a short bus journey (see below).

The nearest bus stop to the sports area is 'Adliswil, Badstrasse' reachable with the 185 bus with connections to Adliswil Bahnhof (S4 train), Zurich Wollishoferplatz (tram 7), or Wollishofen Bahnhof.
