Rethinking Gender for inclusive institutions: A conversation with Dr. Eugenia Cheng

If you're interested in how institutions can be transformed to become more inclusive for women and other under-represented groups, then this event with Dr. Eugenia Cheng is for you.

Dr. Eugenia Cheng is a mathematician, educator, pianist, public speaker and author of the book x+y: A Mathematician’s Manifesto for Rethinking Gender. She will discuss with us how mathematics can help us understand privilege, gender, and other kinds of inequality and proposes a conceptual framework to forge a path out of division and exclusion.

Dr. Eugenia Cheng is a Scientist at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Honorary Visiting Fellow at City University of London.

The conversation with Dr. Eugenia Cheng will be moderated by Marcy Goldberg, Zurich-based cultural commentator and lecturer in media, gender and cultural studies.
