Vermont’s 8,000+ miles of trails offer people the chance to explore our fields, forests, and mountains. VTGC brings together the resources, expertise, and connections that volunteer and professional trail organizations need to build, maintain, and fund trails, ensuring public access to Vermont’s natural beauty for everyone. We provide networking opportunities for trail managers and advocates, and advance policies and funding that strengthen outdoor recreation statewide. Our work supports high-quality, climate-resilient trails that connect communities, foster local economic vitality, and inspire a lifelong commitment to conservation.
