Aidan Gately - Joy at Home

Aidan Gately is Ireland's first male KonMari Consultant and the resident Declutter Expert on RTÉ's TV show Home Rescue. He helps clients declutter their homes and lives using the KonMari Method®, which focuses on tidying by category and making lasting changes to maintain order and joy.

Through his business Joy at Home, Aidan works primarily with clients in Leinster, offering both in-person and virtual sessions to accommodate various needs. His approach emphasises the emotional and psychological benefits of tidying, helping clients gain peace of mind and clarity about what brings them joy. Aidan is passionate that the possessions his clients no longer need are given the chance of a second life and donated or recycled as sustainably as possible.

Aidan's background in arts administration preceded his career change in 2020 when he trained with Marie Kondo to become a certified KonMari Consultant. He is recognized for guiding clients through manageable steps to transform their living and work spaces and, consequently, their mental and emotional well-being.
