Lynda Morrissey
Lynda Morrissey is a senior consultant, professional coach, and a contemplative.
She has a career background as a HR recruitment management consultant in some of the world’s leading human rights, humanitarian, animal protection, and United Nations launched organisations.
Lynda is particularly interested in engaged forms of spirituality, faith and mindful awareness in response to the crises present in our world.
A literary artist, she initiated the vision for the song Raise the Ash - an Irish folk song celebrating the ancient bond between people, land, and culture in Ireland - and highlighting the role sport can plan in peacemaking and climate action.
Her poem, Caoimhe’s Mindful Pause, catalysed into collaboration with the GAA Greens Clubs Programme, through which she introduced two peacemaking initiatives into a GAA community led 100,000 native tree planting project nationwide,aligned with the UN Resolution on Harmony with Nature.
Lynda's roots are in ecumenical and mystical Catholic spirituality, shaped by a deep love for Ireland's Celtic Christian heritage. She is committed to building interfaith understanding, peace, and friendships, and has been involved in the interspiritual movement for over a decade. Lynda initiated the All Island of Ireland Interfaith Gatherings for Peace which has since evolved into into an annual partnership peace gathering with Dublin City Interfaith Forum and Northern Ireland Interfaith Forum.
Through 1:1 coaching, group programmes, retreats, and social action, Lynda creates inclusive spaces that unite and welcomes people from all diverse backgrounds.
