Raysa González is an award-winning journalist and cultural event producer recognized for her work connecting fashion, culture, and international communities through media and live experiences. As a reporter for Telemundo 44’s program Tu Guía, her storytelling and cultural reporting earned her a Capital Emmy Award, establishing her as an influential voice in cultural journalism in the Washington, D.C. region.
She is the Founder and Executive Producer of Global Couture U.S., an international cultural fashion platform that brings together designers, artisans, and cultural leaders from more than 20 countries, in collaboration with over 20 embassies in Washington, D.C. The event highlights the artistry of indigenous designers, traditional craftsmanship, and the cultural narratives that shape global fashion.
Through Global Couture, Raysa has created a unique stage where culture meets couture, providing opportunities for artisans and emerging designers to present their work alongside internationally recognized fashion talent. The platform has become one of the most distinctive cultural fashion events in the DMV (Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia) area, known for celebrating diversity, creativity, and cross-cultural collaboration.
In addition to her work in media and event production, Raysa has developed an international career in public relations and cultural diplomacy. She has worked with global organizations and companies including IVY Pharma Laboratories in Korea, strengthening connections with Latin American markets, and has collaborated with the Estopiñán Group, supporting international relations and cultural initiatives with embassies and institutions.
Her professional experience also includes the production of documentaries, special television reports, cultural programming, and hosting major events as a master of ceremonies. She actively participates in community outreach initiatives and continues to develop strategic partnerships throughout Latin America and the United States.
