Dr. Bertha Barraza

Dr. Barraza is the author of the Sense of Belonging Book and is a community college counselor at Mt. San Jacinto College. She is also the founder of the 9/11 Commemoration Committee and since 2011 She has been gathering communities to make sure We Will Never Forget! This year, the community celebrates another milestone, by unveiling an artifact that the committee received from the 9/11 Memorial and Museum in New York City. The artifact was collected from ground zero where it was found among debris and human remains. This is a very special year for the committee and community at large.
