The British Muslim Heritage Centre (BMHC) is a registered charity (No. 1110104) based in Whalley Range, Manchester. Founded by members of Manchester’s Muslim community, the Centre serves the spiritual, educational, social and cultural needs of the community, with a particular focus on young people.

Our work includes daily and Jummah prayers, Quran memorisation and Islamic studies, youth clubs and holiday programmes, lectures and study circles, and Nikah and counselling services. We also run Heritage Radio and organise heritage trips, including Umrah, Hajj and visits to Al-Aqsa.

Through exhibitions, interfaith events and festivals, we share Muslim heritage and its contribution to civilisation, and promote understanding across Greater Manchester’s communities.
