The La Trobe University's Clinical Trials Platform enables and accelerates new research outcomes by providing expert advice, support and services needed for high quality clinical trial design, exceptional management, and regulatory compliance.

The Clinical Trials Platform offers:

• Support to La Trobe researchers and students, external investigators, and industry partners at any stage of the clinical trials lifecycle. The expert, end-to-end service includes trial design and methodology, grant development, ethics submissions, statistical support.

• High quality clinical trials education and training for researchers and staff in collaboration with national partners.

• Access to highly trained and skilled experts in the field for overall trial management including planning, promoting and conducting clinical trials.

• Facilitation of agreements, registration, and negotiations essential for regulatory compliance and rapid study start-up.

• Participant recruitment and selection; and facilitation of public involvement.

• Development of databases, including data checking, cleaning, analysis, and reporting.

• Trial management, including support with safety monitoring plans, regulatory compliance, and organising and hosting events and study meetings.
