Dr. Lara Salyer, DO, IFMCP

Dr. Lara Salyer, DO, IFMCP, is a functional medicine physician, author, and mentor to clinicians who want a career that makes room for their humanity. Her guiding belief: healing is art, and creativity is medicine.

After her own burnout, Lara rebuilt her life and work around flow science, somatic embodiment, and a healthy dose of self-permission. Today she runs a holistic membership practice from her hometown of Monroe, Wisconsin, and mentors women physicians, NPs, PAs, and integrative practitioners through Catalyst Studio, her long-term mentorship community.

She also serves as medical director and systems strategist for Viaro Health, faculty mentor for The School of Applied Functional Medicine, and host of The Catalyst Way podcast. Her memoir, Right Brain Rescue, tells the story of a doctor who traded exhaustion for expression.

Catalyst Rounds is the easiest way to experience her work. It's a small, drop-in group where practitioners bring real decisions (pricing, boundaries, membership transitions, group visits, delegation) and leave with clearer next steps. Lara facilitates; the room does the rest. As she likes to say, the smartest person in the room is usually the room.

You don't have to choose between being a good doctor and a joyful human.
