ABOUT US: Since 2013, Harlem Dance Club has offered free dance programming that celebrates the healing power of music, community and dance. Our goal is to create an open, safe space where dancers of all levels can access exceptional teaching artists and guest performers free of charge.Our programming is not solely about the free programming we offer—it is about the participants themselves and the unique energy they bring into our space. We look within our community for members who are consistently involved and seek to elevate them to leadership positions. What we’ve created over the past decade is not a dance school or performance troupe—we strive to be an example of healthy community building that can occur when people are brought together by music and dance.
