Karen Hunt
Karen Lynn Hunt holds an active RN, BSN license and is a Certified End-of-Life Doula (EOLD) through Doulagivers International. She also carries a Proficiency Badge from the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA). Karen is the founder of Doula of the Sacred Canyons in Silverado Canyon, California, and hosts a monthly Happy Trails Life Café on Zoom, inspired by the Death Café model.
Her unique journey bridges the full spectrum of life. Karen began her nursing career working as a Labor and Delivery nurse, where she supported families in welcoming new life into the world. Years later, she transitioned to hospice and end-of-life care, bringing with her the wisdom and compassion cultivated throughout her nursing practice. These experiences deepened her ability to guide, support, and honor the sacred flow of the dying process.
