OPA has commissioned four Pittsburgh Creative Corps artists to design and experiment with how tour-goers experience Pittsburgh’s public realm. Each tour in the series focuses on artistic activities, observation, listening, physical activity, or games.

In the Field is a behind-the-scenes look at the public art process. Using a recently completed commissioned project, In the Field takes participants through the artist's process, from the artist's perspective.

For this inaugural season, artist John Peña will share his work on the pedestrian enhancement project for the reconstructed Fern Hollow Bridge over the course of three in-person sessions.
