Southampton’s longest running indie comedy night, Stand Up in the Basement brings some of the best names on the UK comedy circuit to Papillon, Southampton, for a monthly night of live stand-up. Hosted by resident MC, Colin Owens, each show features three established comedians, from familiar TV faces and circuit favourites to some of the most exciting newer acts.

"What a great night out this is! And brilliant value too! I don't always know who the acts are (my lacking) but they've been hilarious despite that, so whoever's on, I can't recommend this comedy night highly enough!"

"Great night out! Never know quite what to expect as there's such a variety of performers - always good though and a great atmosphere."

"So funny, addictive. Always wanting to come back. Host is great and brings the whole evening together perfectly! "
