The Wilding Project: Melbourne
The Wilding Project is a movement practice for people who want to move, play and belong in a living world. In Melbourne, we gather each Saturday in Carlton Gardens under the oak trees for EcoFitness: rope flow, crawling, balance, rolling, leaping, parcours and forest therapy practices, shared with the birds, worms and trees. All ages and levels are welcome, and your first class is free.
In Perth, WA, The Wilding Project is also a 700 sqft movement facility with 800 members and a community parcours program.
About Damien (Wolf Heart): Damien is the founder of The Wilding Project and co-founder of Wild Living in British Columbia. A former Australian gymnast with 25 years of coaching, he has taught movement in 17 countries and holds MovNat Master Trainer (Levels 1–3), ADAPT Parcours, ANFT Forest Therapy Guide and Nature-Based Leadership Trainer certifications. He teaches in Melbourne. His TEDx talk, "It's Time to Rewild", tells the origin story of this work, and he is completing a PhD on human rewilding through movement at Simon Fraser University.
