Wollongong Art Gallery

From November 2026, Wollongong Art gallery will temporarily close for essential roof and air conditioning upgrades, helping protect both the building and Collection into the future. The works are expected to take around 12 months, with reopening anticipated in November 2027.

While the building gets a refresh, the team will be busy planning future exhibitions, programs, and exciting projects, including preparations for the Wollongong Art Prize and 50th anniversary in 2028.
